A Safe Haven for Recovery

Our Residential Inpatient Program provides a structured, trigger-free environment where you can focus entirely on healing. Located in a serene setting, ARC offers a separation from the stressors and environments that fuel addiction.

What to Expect in Residential Care

Structure is the antidote to the chaos of addiction. Your days at ARC are purposefully designed to restore balance:

Morning: Meditation, nutritious breakfast, and process groups.

Afternoon: Individual therapy (CBT/DBT), educational workshops, and physical fitness.

Evening: 12-Step or SMART Recovery meetings, recreational time, and reflection.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the residential program?

Recovery is a personal journey, not a race. While we offer programs ranging from 30 to 90 days, clinical evidence suggests that a stay of at least 45 days significantly improves long-term outcomes by allowing the brain time to stabilize and new habits to form.

What does a typical day look like?

Structure is the antidote to addiction. Your day is carefully scheduled from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, including individual therapy (CBT), group process sessions, physical fitness, nutritional meals, and evening peer support meetings (SMART Recovery or 12-Step).

Can I talk to my family while in treatment?

Yes. We believe family connection is vital. However, to help you focus entirely on your recovery, we may implement a brief 'blackout' period (typically 3-5 days) upon arrival. After this, scheduled phone calls and weekend visitations are encouraged.

Is my stay confidential?

Absolutely. As a private medical facility, we adhere to strict Canadian privacy laws (PHIPA). We do not share information with employers, legal authorities, or family members without your explicit written consent.

Do I get a private room?

We offer both private and semi-private suites. Many clients find that sharing a room (semi-private) reduces isolation and fosters peer accountability, but private accommodations are available for those who require solitude for their recovery.
